We started the trip off with Price. It was Gpa Holts big 6-0 and I think we managed to pull off the surprise party! It was great to spend a few days with the Holt cousins. They enjoyed eachother. We had a big xmas party complete with a visit from santa and enjoyed playing late night games, taking the kids to see a movie, and just enjoying good food and good company :)
The kids reinacted the nativity. It was pretty cute, Kai was a shepherd and Meili, why of course... an angel! So fitting, right!?!

Then we spent some time with my family on the front. We spent time at both my sisters houses. We played just dance on the kinnect, we shopping together and had a big new years party. Kai even got to go do some hunting while we were there :)
His pheasant feathers :)
This is what Meili... I mean Tristan got for xmas. I think she thought it was hers...
Not sure who is more excited about it!

Made this necklace for my sister, best kind of gifts are the homemade ones :)
And in a collaborative effort, made this mission quilt for my brother who just returned. I love giving. There is such a happiness that comes from giving, especially when it's something you put a lot of love into ;)
Kai and his awesome homemade jet pack! soooo cool!
New years!
We played just dance and pictionary all night and Meili made it just before the ball dropped. Kai made it and fell asleep shortly thereafter. I love letting them go as long as they can, until they just can't go anymore. Such a fun night!

My parents even brought an apple slicer and the kids made their own dehydrated apple slices. It was a huge hit with them :)
Bre and I spent the rest of the week together with Lauren and Mike. She is an excellent cook and needless to say we were thrilled to have her for thanksgiving!!! She cooked a different meal for us everyday of the week and they were exceptional! Thanksgiving dinner itself was nothing short of amazing. The kids even made pilgram hats out of rieces and cookies. It was just awesome!
We spent time shopping, going for walks, taking a visit to the dam, and trying out this bird sanctuary that we will definitely be returning to. The kids had a blast on their 'adventure hike'. Note the walking sticks... it was serious! so much fun!
We also spent a lot of time lovin on these babies... :)
Before they headed out we went deep into the woods and found the most perfect xmas tree and chopped it down with our ax... yeah just kidding, this is vegas, sadly there is no woods... We did the next best thing and went to home depot and handed over our $20 :) It is a perfect tree though :) The kids enjoyed coloring while we decorated some...
It was sad to see Bre leave, we had such a great time with them, It was so much fun! Our week of partying wasn't over yet... We headed to mesquite and went to dinner with Rich's brother's and his dad. We stayed in a hotel and the cousins had such a great time together, even the 2 ladies of the group :) We have such great families and feel so blessed.
