Kai's 7th Bday

This year Grandma and Grandpa happened to be here to help us celebrate. Kai wanted a party with friends at Chuck E Cheese so we invited a few kiddos and then did a separate family party. We had a great time with him! He wanted a dragon cake, and a fierce one at that! So his birthday wish was my command! We made it happen and of course he said it was the best day ever! Kai loves all things boy; weapons, fishing, hunting, camo, dragons, doing anything outdoors, school, learning, and spending time playing with his siblings. He's super organized and super helpful. Our family would not be the same without him!

He was thrilled with the results!
Tristan was thrilled to sing happy birthday again, he loves that song :)
They all did really well letting him blow out his own candles and opening his own presents, which Meili helped wrap :)
He even scored a trampoline, which is the new favorite thing now!
The kids love Chuck E, Meili and T just wanted to ride rides over and over again, even though they get no tickets... Kai on the other hand was all about winning tickets! He did skiball over and over again :)
 friends :)

We love you Kai man!

July

We moved Tristan into a toddler bed and he is loving it! I'm always surprised how well kids do with change and how much I fret about it! It's not worth it! He stays in bed and still takes naps. It has been a great change for him and change is hard for me, but it went well.
We were in UT still for the 4th and loved doing fireworks with the fam even though we missed our other half. We even woke up super early to get an awesome spot for the parade. We tried twice to see hot air balloon but struck out twice, turns out they did it on the day we didn't wake our kids up at 6am!
 silly man
He loved this, and was a bit hap hazard!
It was great to be home again with Dad! It was a very joyful reunion!
 friends :)
I love this picture, because we have an awesome Daddy. This is always how his life is, kiddos following him around like magnets. They love him! He is an awesome dude, we are lucky!
I love Meili's writings as of late, everything is full of hearts and love. They love eachother :) So simple yet so profound :)

June Jetsetters Part 3

I got to go to st george while in UT and meet up with my vegas gals, it was great to spend the weekend together and see them all again. It was fabulous catching up and relaxing together. The kids went to a parade with everyone else and I'm told had a great time, bbqing and hanging out with the family.
 My ladies :)
 We spent time with friends
 and at bounce places
Kai walked in here and the cautious part of him said, 'um this concerns me...' lol. We also took him them to seven peaks and loved the slides after going once, but on his way down the first time screamed the whole way and then said, 'Mom, I was screaming on the outside, but crying on the inside!' He loved it after he got over the initial fear of going once :)
We even got to see our Cousins who were moving to TN. Don't they look alike!?!
And of course we can't all be in the same proximity for an extended period of time and not get some kind of bug... :(
Kiddos loved slip n sliding and running through the sprinklers at aunt shels. It was a hit for sure!
We love taking trips up provo canyon and playing in the streams. There are always minnows to be caught!
Had to keep those babies cool :)
We loved our time in UT even if it had to be without our Daddy. Hope we can do it again next summer!

June Jetsetters Part 2

Meili got to be the flower girl at uncle Daniel's wedding. She was very precise and places one rose petal on the black line, even stopping once to pick a stray up and place it where it belonged. Someone must have gave her instruction to follow the black line and boy did she ever! It was very cute :) It was a very beautiful ceremony and beautiful decor and we were so glad we could be there for it!
 Aren't they just cute?
Most of these are just random photos, but I love my siblings so glad I have so many :) Each one is so special to me, I just love when we can all be together :)
Gram Gayle even made it down for the occasion and we were so lucky to have her and spend quality time with her :)
Emotional day for the parentals :)
Why does everyone in this photo look decent, but the groom? lol
They even had cotton candy at the reception! what!?!
They also had a photo booth which literally single handedly entertained my children for 3 hrs. Kai did 23 of these and printed them out! at one point even the photo booth guys jumped in with my kids! It was so cute and funny! Loved this!
Kai became pretty experienced toward the end ha
The dance party at the end was fabulous and here they are doing Gangnam style. Awesomeness...
Love u butchie, so glad we could be there for your special day :)
