Lion King
The kids were super excited to go see lion king on the strip. Kai loved it and Meili loved half of it. Once we hit intermission she was like, 'why are we going back in?' haha. As long as she had food in her mouth and/or was being rubbed she was fine. Nate and Sarah came with us, which made it even better :) We left T at home, which was good, but we missed him. It was an awesome show! Prepare yourself for some excited faces!!!

Such a fun night :)

Day at Springs Preserve
It was Target's free day at springs preserve and we just love it there so I had to take advantage! Rich was working and I was nervous about taking 3 kids and a nursing baby by myself. However, they were amazing. I have amazingly awesome children. I think they know when they have to behave and when they don't. They were so great while I took breaks to nurse even. We got there right on time and got a great place to park, got our free popcorn and slushies and literally spent almost 6 hrs there. The kids loved playing and enjoying the outdoors and various things to do there. They even got their faces painted, the only thing we waited in line for :) Even at that it was only about 20 min. It is times like this that I realize once again what awesome kids we have. Such a fun day!!!

Yes, this baby is literally this happy all day long every day... :) If I could have 20 with his attitude I would :) LOVE HIM!!!

Life is good :)

The princess is 3 :)
Sometimes... I just can't believe that we made this... :)
Well, the precious little gal wanted a reeeeepunzle cake, so that is exactly what she got! Nate and Sarah were able to come over and help us celebrate. She was certainly spoiled. It was nice to have just a small family party. Meili is so spunky and full of life and energy. I hope she never looses that. She loves her brothers and loves to color and do letters. She is wild and crazy and silly all at the same time. She never stops and she adds so much life to our party :) We love this princess :)

She really enjoyed mostly ice cream and some frosting with sprinkles, the girl is not much for cake itself... :)
New bike!
the loot!
Kai is so spoiled too :) He did really great being that it was a party for Mei. He got these awesome light up shark slippers from nate and sarah :)

1st day of Kindergarten
I cannot believe it. My little man has grown up. Kai was so excited to go to school today. He methodically planned out what he was going to wear, (dragon pants, even though it is 100+ degrees outside, striped blue shirt just like his daddy, and his new light up shoes. He even was complete with a camo backpack and must have matching lunchbox, even though he really doesn't get a lunch break, he brought a snack to eat during recess.) He jumped in the car after a whole morning of preparation and excitement and said, 'oh mom! I just can't wait, I'm just so excited!' He was so giddy. We stopped off at the hospital to meet Rich for a second and snapped a quick picture. We parked at the school and walked to the 'kindergarten gate', which they lock behind themselves after all the kids line up with their teachers. We walked him in and he gave each of us, me, Tristan, and Mei a kiss and hug and waved goodbye to us. He was so happy and so excited. I was happy for him and not really sad. Meili just couldn't wait to get into her bed as Kgarten is during nap time, which works wonderfully for me I must say! I did have some flashbacks on the way home of him as a baby and us at the hospital and bringing him home to price. I did feel a little nostalgic, but I think it was day 2 when it became a little more real for me. Still I'm not in tears yet, maybe 1st grade when he's actually gone all day, might be a little harder then. Especially for Meili, oh how she will miss him... When we picked him up he was like a little chatter box, he told me all about square time and told me, 'mom did you know that my brain and meili's brain and your brain and daddy's brain are all the same size!!' (like it's a contest or something) and then he said, 'mom I just want to stay there all day long, I don't even think I should go to sleep tonight, I'm so excited'. Needless to say this boy is cut out for school and lots of it. Here's to the next 13+ years big man :) Watch out world, here he comes...
Sadly, the chubber was sleeping through most of this or in my arms so he never ended up in a picture I just realized... bummer
creativity...
Creativity comes in all shapes and sizes...
the princess and the wolfEvery single clipie
Mei has these clipies that came in a set and everytime she wants her hair done with them, she is neurotic enough that she makes me use every single one of them. So this is what I came up with, cute eh?
