Hello Missouri

It was so crazy to show up to our house when I had never seen it before, but it was even more beautiful than the photos :) It is perfect and lovely and it couldn't be more perfect for our needs right now. I love the backyard and the sandbox/swingset. It is so wonderful to have a backyard. We are loving the house, but still trying to adjust to the new environment. Change is good, change is good, change is good... right??

by all means, it is not close to being finished as far as decor goes, but it gives you a taste of what it looks like :)
It's nice to have tristan in the fouton room and the kids in their room together. No one in our room! yey! It's also been really nice to have the extra room off the kitchen, a garage again, and a backyard. Yey for backyards. I seriously never knew what I was missing out on!!!! Neither did the kids...!

Goodbyes

I really dislike moving. Yeah it's exciting, but it's so much work and it's so hard to leave people. My family came down to help out, thankfully, they were so much help. We got to spend a week with my brother Daniel and Deanna before saying goodbye to them for a while. We did some things the kids wanted to do before leaving vegas. We went to the gardens at the bellagio and per meili's request saw the fountains. She loves them :) We did some swimming with Daniel at his hotel and spent a ton of time packing! Thanks to my wonderful friends for all the help with the kids during that week. We miss u all :(
So sad that these 2 little guys have to be separated for a few years :/
loading..
loaded!
Big thanks to my parents for taking the penske out and dealing with all the 'bumps' that came along the way :) lets just say penske has excellent customer service and they will definitely be getting our buisness in the future! And a big thanks to Erroll for helping us drive out with the kids. We took lots of breaks, including ice cream and swimming at hotels after a long day. 2 1/2 days later we arrived :)
Before we left rich and I had to get in a nickelback concert. We will so miss having so many fun things at our fingertips! It was an awesome show :)
Meili had to say goodbye to her dance class, which was sad at the time, but I'm not sure she will really miss it too much... :)
Saying goodbye to my wonderful friends was super hard for me. Love them and will miss them so much. We met up for a breakfast and thanks to tab it was a surprise :) love u ladies!
Finally, we had to take a pic by the Vegas sign :) It is truly the end of an era... it was such a huge chapter in our lives, and it was so great :)

Celine Girls weekend!

Deanna and Shel drove down together and bre flew in. We wanted to have one last hurrah in vegas together and decided to hit up Celine! Sadly, it was our first sister's weekend ever, and I'm really not sure why! We are determined to make it a biannual event from here on out! We spent time shopping, dining, hot tubbin, movie watchin, and sharing our fav things with eachother :)
I literally laughed out load at the later of these two photos...
check it... D has some majorly pursed lips intently focused on cutting her food and I am sucking something off of my middle finger and looking at who knows what... Thanks bre :) this one's a classic!
My shared thing was sewing and my california fabric, I made my sister a dolman style top out of this fabric and made D a see through swim cover, and made bre a scarf, it was pretty cool :)
Ignore the cheeseball pose...
readying ourselves for ms celine...
my sister's are hotter than I am...
Sarah even came with us for the fabulous event! It was so awesome, Celine is devine :)
On a last minute whim decision the 2 eldest kiddos went home with my sisters so I could get some packing done and so they could hang out with family for a week. Tristan missed them a bunch and was super whiny, but they absolutely loved it. It was so much fun for them! Even the green smoothies!
but they were soooo worn out by the end of the week! yes... she is asleep!
I got a whole lot of this done...
and even some of this! Mei was thrilled to come home to matching dresses :)

Time with Nate & Sarah

The thing we will miss most about las vegas is being with Nate and Sarah. We got so close to them during these 5 years and it will be so sad to leave them. The hardest thing about this change is leaving family. We will miss them so much. We did some swimming and hanging out in their newly redone backyard. The kids love it there and it's just too bad that we won't be able to go over whenever we want and hang out. We love you guys!

Mesquite wknd

We spent a weekend in mesquite with matt and sarah and took the kids to a little lake to do some fishing. They intended on swimming as you can see, but didn't end up doing so because they just love to fish way too much :) They each caught some. We even did a little fire and had dogs and mallows :) It was a sweet day :)
