The result of too much fun...

Yes, this is what they both looked like after we got home from our trip to sea world. They literally both fell asleep on the couch...mid apple... and yes, I checked their mouths before I laid them down! The only sad part about going to sea world over thanksgiving is missing out on all the good food! Mcdonalds' apple pie just doesn't cut it :( It was a nice week spent together, which I really needed! Here's a few pics of our adventures, we really had a great time :)
Alright, so she didn't quite get the concept... What part of 'keep the starfish underwater' don't you understand?
This dolphin/bird show is great. They have divers dressed in bird costumes that do huge dives and tricks. Kai however is convinced they are the characters from 'Angry Birds'. Here is his pic with the black 'bomb' bird in the background :)
In case you havn't noticed Meili wouldn't take her new shades off even though there was no sun!
One of our favorite resting spots is the play land there, fully equipped with rides!
So jealous! Can't wait till I can soak in the hot tub again...

Halloween

We spent Halloween with Rich in Ut and had a great time. My brother in law works for adobe and had a huge trick or treat walk through with tons of fun characters. The kids, well mostly Kailer, loved it! It was sooo cool. Meili wasn't too fond of the characters, but actually kissed Mrs. Shrek on the cheek, green makeup and all, she was very real looking! After that, she was a bit shocked and out of sorts and didn't really get what was going on. Kai loved it though and wanted his picture taken with everyone! They got a ton of candy and that was only the begining. We trick or treated at the mall and then at my sister's neighborhood. Kai was out with his cousins till 9! It was a lot of fun for them. Here's a few pics :)
Kai and his cousins, getting caught in the life size mouse trap :)
We ran across the parkinglot to get a photo with this dude, darth and the man himself :) He was sooooo happy! At times, we felt like we were at disney land or something with all the characters there! This pic actually took some real convincing for about 5 min. As you can see his eyes have a glimmer of fear in them, as Mr. Big Bad Wolf's costume was a little too real for his liking!Donkey and Kai from Shrek, I sooo wish I would have captured Meili giving Mrs. Shrek a kiss on the cheek! It was the only character she even touched!

Festivities

Well it's not even Halloween yet, but the kids have already been in costume 4 times! We've been to the mall, the rec center, the museum where they even won a costume contest :), and most recently a Halloween party with cousins! It was so much fun, we drove down just for 1 night to mesquite. It was great fun for the kids. We played Halloween games courtesy of Uncle Matt and Aunt Sarah and even had a candy run, which was hilarious! The 'adult men' (I use this term loosely) set up on one end of the room with nerf guns, and the kids run from one end of the room to the other trying to reach the candy before they get shot. It is entertainment for all ages :) Its fun to shoot at your kids with them giggling the entire time, and the kids cannot get enough of it! Oh it was so funny :) It's become a holiday get together tradition! Thanks Nate and Sarah for being a part of the weekend, we loved it, here's a pic of Kai and his cousins :)

The Princess...

I finally finished Meili's princess 'locked in the castle with dragon' look for Halloween. It turned out super cute and since bribing her with candy to wear it, she now loves it and wore it all afternoon yesterday! Yey me! She even likes wearing the hat, couldn't ask for more. She loves the wand and calls it her 'poof'. She walks around hitting people with it saying, 'poof you a frog', 'say ribbit!' So happy that my little rough and tough girl can be girly! Here are a few pics :)
Oh and on a side note, a big one, Grandma and Grandpa came down over the weekend and we had a great time with them, we even got a visit from Uncle Matt and Sarah. The weekend was complete with swimming, pumpkin carving, ice blocking, and a visit to the pumpkin patch! Here's a few pics... And last but not least I am now 16 wks prego and Rich did an ultra sound yesterday, as he's working with an OB right now, and we're about 75% sure we will be adding some more testosterone to our bunch :) It's a bit early, but we'll see if that still holds true in a month when I have my other ultrasound. We're excited! Here's a pic of me at 12 wks, I'm looking a bit rounder now though :)
