Oct was busy will lots of fun things for kids to do with school trips, lots of pumpkin patches and lots of fun with friends. We even took a trip to the zoo and watched the homecoming parade. These photos are all smiles, but life is crazy around here. 4 kids has been the biggest adjustment for both Rich and I. It's tough because I feel like T is still a baby himself and is sort of falling through the cracks at times??? I find myself around 1 or 2 just getting dressed for the day or eating for the first time... Rich and I went on a date recently first time since before Darci and we just looked at eachother and sighed :) We are a little worn down and feel like each kid is manifesting some neediness in one way or another as a result of a shift in the family. I love babies and would have 20 more if I felt like I could constantly be able to replenish their tanks. I feel like sometimes within the mormon culture it can be about quantity not quality. We are realizing everyday how important it is to be able to have enough in your personal tank to be able to constantly pour into your children. So four is our number and we are happy and constantly working to do the best by these little people. I find myself trying to soak up time with my baby and enjoy that time in the afternoon with her because during the rest of the day I can't ignore the others. It's a tough balance :) That my friends is the reality of 4. It is crazy beautiful :)
Our daddy is awesome and made everyone bows n arrows! We got to visit Kai for his school field trip and poor T bites his nails when he's nervous now :)
Tristan also nurses his babies now :) fabulous :)My 2 babies :)
Meili is a little diva, but she loves everything boy as well :) It's a beautiful mixture and we love it. She posed herself and dressed herself for her picture day. I had nothing to do with any of it, and she insisted I take a pic of her feet in her fabulous shoes. Love this girl :)
The annual painting and carving of pumpkins was a hit for sure. T lathered his over and over again with paint, sooo much paint, Meili did hers in rainbow stripes and Kai did both painting and carving into very scary faces :) Meili carved a cinderella, cupcake for Darci and a scary face for T. Lots of fun :)
yep guilty... poor little lady :)
Trying to soak up these snuggles :)
This is 6 wks and she's smiling and cooing now :)
Meili was Brave, Kai was a sith lord, the yellow darth maul, Darci was a cupcake, and T was a fireman :)
One last pic I wanted to throw in, above is Darci, below is Meili, the resemblance is uncanny. I feel like I am having dejavu all the time!!! Little beauties are so alike. I think it's those big eyes :)
