That sneaky little leprechaun...

Mr. leprechaun was very sneaky this year. Kai was sure he'd catch him with several booby traps he made for school. Unfortunately we didn't catch him, but did end up with a lot of green all over and some golden chocolate treasures... Yey! We hit up the parade with Nate and Sarah, we were lucky the downpour started just as it was ending :)

Aunt D

While D and Weston were here we took advantage of their awesome new camera and took a few birthday pics for Tristan. They turned out super cute :) We had a great time with them and were so glad that they got to hang with us here. We took the kids to a park, went out to eat, did a little shopping, and just enjoyed our time together. The kids love cousin Cohen and especially Kai, cannot get enough of him. Such a fun weekend :)

March Madness

My parents were here with my nephew for a week and mom really helped me get motivated and organized and get a few boxes packed. Yes, it's early, but we were anxious. They were a big help and the kids enjoyed time with them. They even brought the princess a new dress, she loved it and was twirling like crazy :)We found some time to eat out as well :)Went to the Dam, as mom and dad hadn't seen the new bridge yet. Snapped a cute pic of T with his toes in his nose. His favorite thing to do when he's tired :) So cute :)Birthday party fun
more march madness to come!

February was so fast!

My life is literally flying by. I feel like it should still be christmas! Moving time will be here before we know it... February was full of fun, we spent 2 weekend in Mesquite, one with rich's dad and step bro, and one with both his brothers. It was a really great time. The kids love playing with cousins! We will miss them so much! Meili and Ava had a great time on Uncle Meich's tramp and Gpa got some smiles out of T :) The girls were feeling friendly as you can see!The boys decided to rent a 4 wheelin machine for Matt's bday, It was a lot of fun, but Kai said it would have been more fun if 'Daddy would have been a more careful driver...' :) That's my cautious boy! ...and Meili's not enjoying this popsicle at all... :) We've also been spending a lot of time with Nate and Sarah. They've been our family down here and it will definitely be hard to move away from them. We went bowling, swimming, and out for pazookies all in the same night. The kids were wiped! Sarah and Rich killed us all at bowling! I guess it's not hard when all you do is roll gutter balls... (Nate) :) Kai got his first strike, he was so happy! The kids are growing up, there was minimal fit throwing and they took turns and just soaked it up. It was a lot of fun!
With 2 kids in school, valentines was really fun this year. We had a picnic at Kai's school and we even made our own valentines for the kids to hand out. Kai wanted to make his own, so I showed him an idea and we 'crafted' it :) 10 years ago we had our first date and we have been so blessed since then :) The kids and I attempted a red velvet brownie with white chocolate frosting for Rich and it turned out great! He loved it and I got my fav, choc covered strawberries! Awesome day!

I love themed holiday shirts, it an obsession :) the many faces of Meili... it's deserving of it's own photo collage...Meili's drawings of valentines for the family. Each picture is holding a heart. I like how we all have accentuated ears and no the legs come off of the head :) my fav For Kai's 100th day of school we had to make a shirt with 100 things on it. Being the star wars fan that he is, I made a stamp out of some of my old art supplies of a lego star wars man with a light saber, we think it turned out pretty cool! Fabric paint is awesome! He was a happy boy! Here's a snippet of his Kindergarten home work, it reads: 'I looked at the picture. Yellow Darth Maul. He is awesome. Me and my friend Will. It was fun. I hope someday these 2 are as close as Kailer and Meili are now. Since Meili has 2 more years at home I'm sure they will be :) I saw a glimps of that during bath time.
Tristan at 10 mo, pulling himself up on things and transfering between things :) Such a sweet happy baby!Almost walking!Kai loves to match his daddy and his brother, first matching shirts! He loves it :)

Nausea...

Although it's been nearly 5 months since our wreck I still have moments of nausea. I still am constantly reminded of how close we came to losing everything. Whether it be watching an episode of greys where they are picking up bodies off the side of the road from a wreck or just simply driving in the darkness and seeing my headlights bounce off reflector poles, I still have nausea. Just recently I felt sick when during our DAILY conversations about the wreck Kailer says to me, 'Mom you know I wasn't buckled right?' I was astonished and said, 'yes you were honey, because otherwise you would have fallen out of the car.' He said, 'No mom, I put my arms in and buckled the top, but then didn't get the bottom buckled, so that's why my head hit the top of the car when we started rolling. I wasn't done buckling yet.' I literally felt sick to my stomach. What seemed like seconds after I had told him to get back into his seat, most likely was seconds. Now it makes sense to me, why he broke his collar bone. There was so much force on his shoulders and nothing anchoring him to his seat. To think I came so so close to loosing everything just makes me sick. Precious little things I've been blessed to still have in my presence...

9 mo

Seriously can't believe how time is flying. Cannot believe that my baby is growing so fast, at 9 mo he is clapping, waving, saying uhho, and saying momma. He is such a joy and so much fun. I just can't believe how fast he is growing...
