Guess who turned 4 months!

This baby is such a joy :) Can't believe he is rolling everywhere and he's even attempting to sit up! Seriously, where did my infant go!?! So fast, so so fast...

The Princess has her own Dance Class :)

We put Meili in a Ballet/Tap class recently and she absolutely loves it. It is so great for her to have something that she can call her own. She is so excited every time. They have a huge window where parents can watch the kiddos and a mirror on the other side of the room so we can see their faces as well, it is really cute. They even have toys and coloring books with chairs in the lobby for other kids. Perfect for us! Her teacher is great and it is so fun to watch her try new things. Here's a few pics of the little ballerina :)

Mt. Charleston hike

My brother came down for the weekend to hang out and we went with Rich's cousins hiking at Mt. Charleston. It was so nice to get out of the heat! It only got up to about 80. It was a 3 mile hike and Kai hiked every bit of it and of course he had to wear his new army attire!!! At the top there was a waterfall, which was really cool. Meili wasn't really sure she wanted to be hauled around in the backpack, but some of the trail had drop offs, so she wasn't able to get out and run around for some of it. She did pretty well though. Tristan, well he just slept most of the time he was being packed around. It was a great day and a fun weekend with Daniel. He will be moving in so he can work down here by the 1st of Aug and living in our basement/garage :) We are excited to have him! Seriously, it's like you can't even see him... ha

Mens/Womens

Just curious if anyone else's bathrooms are gender labeled.... Well, ours are ;) Kailer runs a tight ship around here...

Birthday Party Madness! Clone trooper style...

The most serious clone trooper out there, complete with helmet made from milk cartons, gun from tp/papertowel rolls, and armor out of water bottles :)Death star pinata, cake, and suckers for the clone treasure hunt!before the madness... the red clone himself and of course princess leia!Pin the 'saber on vader' The princess' face during most of the party... :) and most of her life... hahaHis new army outfit and bike
If you can't tell from the mass upload of pictures it was quite the production! I spent about 2 weeks making a clone trooper outfit, why the red one you ask? Because he was the 'good clone trooper'. I also made a pin the saber on vader poster, and painted the death star pinata, which rich made. They played games including a clone trooper treasure hunt, which I made covered suckers for, and they used their homemade light sabers out of fun noodles to become proficient in 'the force' and to fight darth vader(aka daddy). I also made an awesome red clone trooper lego cake. Kai loved it! They ate pizza and we made yoda sodas out of lime ice cream and sprite. It was a huge hit! Kai even got a new bike for his birthday. It's slightly big, but he is doing well and riding without training wheels. What a big man :)
