Kai's 2nd Bday :)

When we got back from NY we immediately celebrated the little guys bday :) It was so cute and so much fun. We did thomas the tank engine themed party and he loved it! We had a get together with Derick and candas and cousins and then a party at shelly's as well. It was so much fun for him.

Such a special little guy we have been blessed with :)

Vernal... In our absence

Well, even though it almost killed me to leave him for 5 days, he was definitely well taken care of. He had much more fun than he would have had in NY. I think he had a good time with Gma, Gpa and Aunt D :)

NYC!!!

Ellen is the most awesome woman on the planet right now. We won 2 airline tickets to NYC and paid for our hotel stay for 5 days. It was craziness! We saw and did so many cool things! We went to central park, museums (moma & the Met), saw vincent vangough paintings, went to ground zero, saw magnificent cathedrals, went to time square, rode the ferry to the statue of liberty & Ellis Island, saw the wallstreet bull, and the naked cowboy, and went to rockafellar center to watch the today show, saw rascal flatts, didn't see Dave, but got a pic with reupert the delly man, which I'm not too sure he was thrilled about, went up the empire state building, which was amazing, and even saw stomp. We braved the subways and the cabbies and shopped and ate and slept :)

Price

Spent some time in price with the Holt boys and did lots of fun things. Rode powerwheels, went to a parade, did fireworks with Aunt Candas' family, and I even had a baby shower. They put a lot of work into it and I got so many beautiful things.

Certainly made me feel special!
